The CRM-NbS project is funded by the United Nations Office for Disaster Risk Reduction (UNDRR) and will develop training material and guidance for integrating Nature-based Solutions (NbS) into the planning and implementation of Comprehensive Disaster and Climate Risk Management (CRM). The specific objectives to achieve this are:

1.) The development of training material for one session of around one hour on how to integrate NbS in the planning process of the CRM, including a facilitators guide; and

2.) A toolkit and checklist to integrate NbS into CRM.

The overall aim is to support countries in advancing CRM at the national level through integrating NbS into the planning process. The project team collaborates with UNDRR to ensure that the development of these materials is in line with the overall approach of implementing CRM.

UNU-EHS leads and coordinates the CRM-NbS project and will result training materials and a toolkit, which integrate context appropriate country case study examples.
