Survive & Thrive at #1o5C: MCII to participate in high-level thematic session of the V20

    On November 22, 1 p.m. GMT (2 p.m. CET), our expert Soenke Kreft of the Munich Climate Insurance Initiative (MCII) will participate in a high-level thematic session of The Vulnerable Twenty (V20) Group on the topic “Survive & Thrive at #1o5C: The Finance Agenda of V20 Economies.”

    The panel will build on recent progress made during past V20 meetings in Addis Ababa and Bali, and host representatives from the Republic of the Marshall Islands, the Philippines, Bangladesh, the Green Climate Fund, the World Bank, and MCII.

    The panel takes place as part of the Climate Vulnerable Forum (CVF) Virtual Summit. This entirely web-based, zero emissions summit is organized by the CVF under the leadership of its current presidency, the Republic of the Marshall Islands. It aims to scale up global climate ambition in the run-up to 2020 and will be joined by heads of states, government representatives and climate champions from around the globe.
