Starting on 7 October, the Summer Academy on World Risk and Adaptation Futures: Demographic Change will take place in Accra, Ghana. A previously selected group of young professionals, including academics, policy makers and practitioners will come together to discuss demographic change and its implication for future vulnerability and exposure towards climate risks.
The public is invited to attend the opening and closing panel sessions:
Opening panel: 7 October 2019, 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Closing panel: 10 October 2019, 3:00 – 4:30 p.m.

The academy is being jointly organized by United Nations University’s Institute for Environment and Human Security (UNU-EHS), Munich Re Foundation (MRF) in collaboration with UN Climate Change. The Ludwig Maximilians University Munich (LMU) in Germany and United Nations University’s Institute for Natural Resources in Africa (UNU-INRA) in Accra, Ghana are associate partners for the 2019 summer academy.
