UNU-EHS, the German Development Institute / Deutsches Institut für Entwicklungspolitik (DIE) and the University of Bonn have the honour to invite you to an evening on Art and Sustainability, which will take place on 3 April 2019 at the Senate Hall in the University of Bonn.
Tone Bjordam will show her recent piece “Water” and focus on how nature can help to trigger a state of mind which generates new ideas and how art and sustainability can interact.
Dirk Wilutzky will show excerpts from his series “What is it to be done?” He will elaborate on this vision of a sustainable world and what art can film can do to engage all of society in the critical process of moving towards sustainability.
Prof Dirk Messner will guide the audience through the evening. He is the Director of the United Nations University, Institute for Environment and Human Security and he has spent more than three decades researching all aspects of sustainability.
