Deutsche Welle’s Global 3000 program has documented the Munich Climate Insurance Initiative’s (MCII) Advancing Climate Risk Insurance (ACRI+) project in Morocco. Can climate insurance avert or alleviate financial damage in the agricultural sectors? The industrial park Ait Melloul, located in Morocco’s southwest region, is especially important, as ninety percent of Moroccan agricultural exports come from here.
