Climate change is forcing a growing number of people to leave their homes, and nowhere is this clearer than in the Pacific. However, new research by UNU-EHS expert Cosmin Corendea, launched as world leaders gather in Bonn for the COP23 conference, reveals there are serious obstacles to successfully implementing the Paris Climate agreement in the region, particularly with regards to protecting human rights.
Speaking to journalist Anke Rasper of Deutsche Welle, Cosmin outlined the main findings of his report on human mobility and human rights in the wake of climate change.
