Sabrina Zwick works for the Munich Climate Insurance Initiative (MCII), hosted by UNU-EHS.

The initiative focuses on developing solutions for risks posed by climate change for the poorest and most vulnerable people in developing countries. Sabrina Zwick contributes to various projects, including Climate Risk Adaptation and Insurance in the Caribbean (CRAIC) and Advancing Climate Risk Insurance plus (ACRI+).

Before joining MCII, she worked for UN-Water to strengthen the activities of UN-Water Members and Partners in their efforts to achieve international development goals related to water. In 2014, she was Officer-in-Charge of the International Human Dimensions Programme on Global Environmental Change (IHDP). The programme aimed to integrate social sciences into global environmental change research, looking at global environmental problems as social and societal challenges.

Previously, she worked in the private sector and implemented technical assistance projects in developing countries and countries in transition with a focus on public administration and water management.

Sabrina Zwick holds a Master degree in Public Policy and Management from the University of Konstanz in Germany. She has a strong interest in research and policies on climate change mitigation and adaptation.
