    Biographical Statement

    Brian has been greatly involved in the water, irrigation and agricultural sector in Kenya as a water engineering professional. He has also worked as a Research Assistant Intern at the West African Science Service Centre for Climate Change and Adapted Land Use (WASCAL) in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso. Prior to joining UNU, he was a Lecturer at the Kenya Water Institute (KEWI), lecturing on water resources management and irrigation engineering related courses.

    Brian holds a Master’s degree in Water Engineering from the Pan African University Institute of Water and Energy Sciences (including climate change) (PAUWES) in Tlemcen, Algeria where he focused on water resources management, hydrological modelling and climate change research. Additionally, he possesses a BSc in Water and Environmental Engineering from Egerton University in Kenya.

    Brian joined UNU-EHS as a Research Associate at Pan African University in Tlemcen, Algeria where he will support the research coordination and implementation activities in the field of water at PACET and PAUWES.
